A singer/songwriter from an early age, Sulis (aka Jen) played at free festivals for many years, before becoming a successful global DJ through the 90s. She qualified as a sound engineer in 1998 and gained her BA(Hons) in Music Production at dBs in Bristol, England in 2015.

Sulis Hana creates intricate, etheric vocal harmonies with her looper and weaves soundscapes of trip-hop, dub, broken beats and folk, with haunting strings, crystal singing bowls and her eclectic vocals. She has produced 3 solo albums with many of her tracks tuned to 432Hz.

She has performed live around the world for over 25 years~ playing at Sanctum in Bristol 2015, (Theaster Gates, Chicago), with Dr Masaru Emoto in LA in 2009, in a synchronised global ceremony to bless the ocean and with PeeWee Ellis at Frome Festival in 2002.

She sang with Bulgaria’s 432 Chamber Orchestra, on the recording of Elegy for Strings (Op 58) in 432Hz, conducted by Ivan Yanakiev.

Sulis Hana recorded and produced her debut album ENTER, in Stanley Jordan’s studio in Sedona and Mick Fleetwood’s in Maui. Featuring Billy Three Trees, J Rokka, Keith Martini and Andrea Walls, the album was mastered by Tim Oliver at Real World Studios in Bath, UK and released on her label Contact Media in 2012.

Sulis Hana wrote and produced her second album, Crystal Ocean, featuring her amazing Dad, Frank Wilson, Tim Gallagher, Craig Ninjah and Maxine Venton. The album was mixed and mastered at Abbey Rd studios in London in 2017.

Sulis’ previous band Snipe, with Paul Boswell, were rated by John Peel and sought after by 4AD. Snipe held gigs and interactive multimedia shows across SW England, London, the W Coast of America and the Burning Man festival. They performed their jazz remix of ‘Ghost Dance’ with PeeWee Ellis at Frome Festival in 2002.

Snipe were quoted in NME as the next biggest thing to come out of Bristol after Massive Attack and Portishead.

DJ JENJEN, aka Mis-chief, was resident at top clubs and free parties around the world for over 20 years, playing across UK, Glastonbury festival, Amsterdam and Ibiza to San Francisco, Burning Man and Hawaii, alongside Grandmaster Flash, Daddy Gee, Roni Size, Scratch Perverts, the Freestylers…

DJ JenJen ran her own Internet radio show, The RIP, with Coldcut’s Pirate TV from 2002-2006.

As a DJ, she has featured in Mixmag, iNews, DJ mag, Dream magazine, Logo and on numerous local and national radio shows.
